The systems studied were albumin/sodium poly(styrenesulfonate), immunoglobulin G/sodium poly(styrenesulfonate), albumin/sodium dextran sulfate, and albumin/heparin. The formation of assemblies was followed using FTIR multiple internal reflection spectroscopy.
