AnnotationColitis was present only in conventional SCID mice and mice colonized with defined cocktail microflora plus segmented filamentous bacteria (SFB). Altered tight junctions (TJs) structure was detect histochemically in colitic mice using antibodies against ZO-1 proteins. Structural changes of TJs was important feature of intestinal inflammation.
