AnnotationWe examined the influence of dietary fatty acid classes on the expression of protein kinase C δ and ε in relation to cardioprotective effects of chronic intermittent hypoxia in rats. Our results showed that lipid diets modify the infarct size-limiting effect of chronic intermittent hypoxia by a mechanism that involves the PKCδ-dependent pathway
