AnnotationMore than 25 PP/PS/SEP polymer blends, where PP = isotactic polypropylene, PS = atactic polystyrene and SEP =poly(styrene-block-ethylene-co-propylene), were prepared. PP/PS viscosity ratio strongly influenced not only overal morphology of the blends, but also inner morphology of the SEP compatibilizer, which exhibited as many as five different structures. An interesting "by product" of this work was the discovery of a new type of polymer morphology, called "morel structure".
