Článek se zaobírá okolnostmi vzniku a celkovým historickým kontextem pořadu Stadtgespräache, který v průběhu 60. let vznikal v koprodukci tehdejší československé a rakouské televize a měl výrazný podíl na vzniku reformně komunistického myšlení v Československu. Článek přibližuje roli, kterou tehdejší ředitel Československé televize Jiří Pelikán hrál při přípravě pořadu.

The article deals with the origin and historical context of „Stadtgespräche, a television program that was broadcast in cooperation between Czechoslovak and Austrian TVs in the 1960and had a significant impact on the history of reform communist thought in Czechoslovakia. The article defines the role that Jiří Pelikán, a director of Czechoslovak television, played during the preparation of a TV broadcast of Stadtgespräche.
