    The seminar aimed to historicise the long transformation of 1989 by focusing on the role of expert languages in the state-socialist regimes. The main speaker at the seminar was Dr Juhan Saharov (Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies, University of Tartu), who presented his research on the role of forecasting experts and forecasting knowledge in the political events of Estonian perestroika.
