Zařízení představuje ucelené technické řešení, které v sobě kombinuje metodu standardního měření tvrdosti povrchu vzorku s metodou postupného odbroušení tenkých vrstev testovaného vzorku materiálu a tvorbou geometrického modelu testovaného tělesa. Tato metoda je primárně určena pro prostorové mapování tvrdosti celulárních a kompozitních materiálů se složitou vnitřní strukturou.

A device is used for measuring of the hardness of the tested material on the top layer of the sample. After indentation, a thin layer of the sample is ground out using a grinding plate. This method allows to make a hardness map of the sample. The device was primary design for measuring the hardness of composites and cellular materials with complex inner structures.
