Fórum 30 let soudobých dějin proběhlo u příležitosti 30. výročí založení Ústavu pro soudobé dějiny a uskutečnilo se jako série online seminářů. Semináře byly otevřeny hlavními referáty, které nabídly širší vhled do problematiky, včetně představení základních problémů k diskusi. Poté následovaly příspěvky v podobě krátkých intervencí dalších odborníků. Důraz byl kladený především na otevřený diskusní charakter fóra, který přispěl nejen k bilanci současného stavu oboru, ale také k nástinu výhledu do budoucna. Témata konferenčního fóra byla: Souboj paradigmat v soudobých dějinách po roce 1989, Tematické důrazy, metody a přístupy v soudobých dějinách, Soudobé dějiny v mediálním a politickém kontextu 90. let a Soudobé dějiny v digitální éře – pokus o úvahu k budoucnosti.

The Forum 30 years of contemporary history was held on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Institute of Contemporary History and took place as a series of online seminars. The seminars were opened by the main papers, which offered broader insight into the issue, including the introduction of basic issues for discussion. This was followed by contributions in the form of brief entries by other experts. Emphasis was placed primarily on the open discussion nature of the forum, which contributed not only to the balance of the current state of the field but also to the outline of the future outlook. The topics of the conference forum were: The Clash of Paradigms in Contemporary History after 1989, Thematic Emphasis, Methods and Approaches in Contemporary History, Contemporary History in the Media and Political Context of the 1990s and Contemporary History in the Digital Age - An Attempt to Reflect on the Future.
