Práce se zaobírá otázkou, do jaké míry Mukařovského práce ovlivnily estetické myšlení 20. a 21. století. Autor nejprve zkoumá, jaký statut je jeho dílu připisován v současných estetických kompendiích anglojazyčné provenience. Poté rozebírá vlastní vývojovou logiku českého strukturalismu, aby zjistil, jaké stránky Mukařovského myšlení byly aktualizovány v jeho domácí tradici. A nakonec porovnává Mukařovského pojetí estetična se soudobými trendy v mezinárodní estetice.

The paper paper focus on the question what influence Jan Mukařovský had on the development of aesthetical thinking in 20th and 21st century. First, the author examines to what extend the aesthetics of the Czech scholar domestified in foreign research traditions. In the following part, the own developmental logic of Czech structuralism is explained. At the end of the article the author considers the question if Mukařovský´s aesthetics is in accordance with contemporary trends in international aesthetic thinking.
