AnnotationError fields originating from the high field side of the tokama exhibit different coupling to plasma than those originating from the low field side. Unique set of 3D coils of COMPASS is utilized to generate such EF from HFS, whose coupling to plasma is then characterised using MHD codes MARS-F and IPEC. The criteria for core and edge resonance correction necessary to avoid detrimental effects of these fields are presented and experimentally investigated.
