In dieser Studie wird der Begriff Authorität behandelt, und zwar am Beispiel der charismatischen Authorität des judäischen Propheten Jeremia. Diese wurd in Streiten mit den Propheten beglaubigt, die das Heil den verkehrt handelnden Menschen angekündigt haben. In diesen Streiten zeigte sich auch die Rolle des Propheten. So kann die Frage des prophetischen Authorität zum Anlass für das vergleichende Erforschung der religiösen Authorität allgemein dienen.

This study discusses the notion of authority, as an example of the charismatic authority of the Judean prophet Jeremiah. This authority had to be testified in disputes with the prophets who announced the salvation for the perverse behaving people. The role of the prophet also appeared in these disputes. Thus, the question of the prophetic authority may serve as a cause for a comparative examination of religious authority in general.
