What is the physical and operational meaning of temperature and its self-measurability during unsteady thermal processes within thermodynamic concepts?
Thermal physics and thermal analysis. From macro to micro, highlighting, thermodynamics, kinetics and nanomaterials. Cham: Springer International Publishig Switzerland, 2017 - (Šesták, J.; Hubík, P.; Mareš, J.), s. 45-78. Hot topics in thermal analysis and calorimetry, 11. ISBN 978-3-319-45897-7

Keywords : temperature * thermal analysis * heat inertia * principle of equivalence of heat and work
OECD category: Thermodynamics
In the contribution a problem of temperature definition is analysed in detail. For the description of processes studied by thermal analysis, where the heat inertia is significant, a novel term “temperacity” is proposed. In this connection the validity of the first and the second law of thermodynamics is discussed.
