    The article deals with an improvement of the accuracy of the phase measurements commonly used in the microwave diagnostics of the plasma density. The main attention is devoted to the development and calibration of new phase detectors (PD) for microwave interferometer operating on tokamak COMPASS in IPP Prague. A special attention is paid to the phase error measurement. Emphasis is put on a proper error measurement and on the methodology of the errors correction.
