More than 250 beads were found at the Migration Period cemetery of the first half of the 6th century AD from Holubice in Moravia, investigated in 1979-80. The article presents the results of a chemical analysis (SEM-EDS) of twenty samples of glass from this collection. The majority of samples are natron glass; two beads were made of rare lead oxide - silica glass, and one bead was made of a heterogeneous material, perhaps the result of recycling.
