The classical result on full information output regulation requires sovability of the so-called regulator equation and asymptotic stabilizability of the systems approximate linearization. Introducing the concept of PRACTICAL (i.e. the corresponding error is not decaying asymptotically to zero) output regulation, the paper investigates the situation when just nonsmooth stabilizability of the original nonlinear system and solvability of the regulator equation almost everywhere are guaranteed.
