AnnotationA specific type of weathering microrelief was found to be related to poorly lithified sandstones, e.g., Jurassic sandstones of Bornholm Island (Denmark) or Cambrian sandstones in the St. Petersburg area (Russia). The different relief forms include grikes and karren formed by surface runoff, earth pinnacles, rhombic honeycombs or various bioerosional forms.
