Tato kapitola shrnuje výsledky předchozích kapitol a diskutuje je v kontextu dosavadních znalostí o volebním chování českých voličů a teorií volebního chování. Výsledky sněmovních voleb v roce 2010 ovlivnila řada faktorů, kdy na jedné straně figurovaly unikátní a nečekané okolnosti a souhry náhod a na druhé straně spíše strukturální charakteristiky a vlastnosti českého politického a stranického systému a českých voličů. Kapitola zároveň naznačuje témata, kterým by se měl budoucí výzkum volebního chování věnovat.

This chapter synthesis the results of analysis of electoral behavior presented in previous chapters. It discusses them in the context of the current knowledge about the electoral behavior of Czech voters and the theories of voting behavior. The results of the 2010 Chamber election were influenced by many factors. On the one side, there were unique and unexpected features of party development and on the other side the structural characteristics of the Czech political and party system and the voters. The chapter also highlights the topics which future research should focus on.
