Studie přibližuje reakci východoněmeckého režimu, společnosti i představitelů opozice na události v Polsku na počátku 80. let. Ukazuje, jaké komplikace způsobila polská krize východoněmeckému stranickému vedení a jaké obavy vyvolala u východoněmeckého obyvatelstva a jaké naděje naopak vzbudila u části východoněmeckého disentu.

Study introduces readers to a reaction of the East Germany regime, society and representatives of the opposition to events in Poland in the beginning of the 80. The study shows problems caused by the Polish crisis to the representatives of the GDR party leadership, furthermore it presents fears among the East Germany population and hopes among the East Germany opposition.
