The chapter deals with construction recombinant vaccines on liposomal platform. Liposomes are very useful tool for the construction of vaccination systems because offer the possibility to associate or entrap simultaneously more than one type molecule, i.e., co-association of hydrophilic or hydrophobic adjuvants (monophosphoryl lipid A, CpG oligonucleotides, muramyl glycopeptides and their lipophilic analogs with soluble or membrane antigens. A special attention is devoted to non-pyrogenic normuramyl glycopeptides and their lipophilic analogs. Preparation of liposomes presenting metalochelating anchors and grafting of hys-tagged recombinant antigens onto their surface are also broadly discussed.
