V letošním roce si připomínáme 50. výročí vynálezu výroby měkkých kontaktních čoček odstředivým litím. Pod záštitou předsedy AV ČR prof. Jiřího Drahoše se proto pořádá výstava věnovaná Otto Wichterlemu, jeho životu, životnímu dílu a jeho významu nejen pro svět vědy, ale i pro společenskou oblast života.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the invention the production of soft contact lenses. Under the auspices of the President of the ASCR prof. Jiří Drahoš is therefore organized an exhibition devoted to Otto Wichterle, his life and work, and his importance not only for the world of science, but also for the Czech society.
