This paper describes the influence of blood plasma depletion on the performance of surface plasmon resonance sensor’s (SPR) estimation of proteins. Depletion method utilizing immobilized combinatorial hexapeptide ligand library or restricted acces material were used for samples pretreatment. The nonspecific binding of depleted plasma on the sensor surface was half as much lower than the binding of whole plasma with the same concentration of low-abundant proteins.
