Two new members of the hnmanin family of peptides, the PAGASRLLLLTGEIDLP (P1) and the SALLRSIPAPAGASRLLLLTGEIDLP (P2) known to protect against the insults of Alzheimer's disease in vitro and in vivo, were structurally characterized by means of circular dichroism (CD) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)spectroscopy.
