    In this paper we have studied sequences and distribution of ribosomal rRNA genes in a group of ancient Nicotiana allopolyploids from section Repandae. We found that the 35S rDNAs has been homogenized towards maternal genome donors while the 5S rDNA to paternal genome donors.
