Die Verfasserin fokusiert auf die Imagination des islamischen Orientes im Rahmen der sog. biblischen Topographie. Die folgenden analytischen Ebenen werden im Absatz thematisiert: Auf Grund welcher Subtexte, Argumentation und figurativen Sprache ist die orientalische Alterität in Pilgerberichten konstruiert worden? Wie transformierte sich der bilbische Alteritätsmodus in böhmischen frühneuzeitlichen Reiseberichten? Wie ist der islamische Orient ausserhalb der biblischen Topographie performiert worden? Description in English The paper focuses on discourses of othering (constructions of Oriental alterity) in the early modern Bohemian travel writing, especially in travelogues on the Near East and Holy Land. A special attention is paid to the imagination of the Islamic Orient withint the so-called "bliblical topographies". The author concentrates on the following questions: On which subtexts, arguments and figurative speech was based the othering in early modern pilgrim travel literature? How was this mode of othering transformed within the 16th century? How was the Islamic Orient performed beyond the the "biblical topographies"?
