    The Nd doped KGW films were deposited on MgO substrates, in oxygen ambient atmosphere. The crystalline, stoichiometry, fluorescence, refractive index and waveguiding properties were studied. The best crystalline structures and strongest fluorescence signal exhibited films created at high temperatures.
