The analysis showed that dramatically non-equal amounts occurred in the human genome of microsatellites that differed only by the terminal nucleotides. The dramatically non-equal occurrences of microsatellites differing only by the terminal nucleotides are observed for most dinucleotide and trinucleotide microsatellites and in all analyzed genomes.
