Relations between structures and electrochemical responses of DNA, interactions of DNA with small molecules and DNA conductivity are also summarized. Focusing on the applications of current electrochemical techniques applied in nucleic acids analysis, this review presents analytical utilization in different bioelectrochemical fields, e.g. sensors for DNA hybridization, electrocatalytic reactions, damage to DNA bases, etc. Workplace Institute of Biophysics Contact Jana Poláková, polakova@ibp.cz, Tel.: 541 517 244 Year of Publishing 2003
