AnnotationEstimates of contents of different expandable clay structures in Bailkal sediments were based on the powder XRD diffraction measurements on heated support and the quantitative analysis of amount and kind of interlayer cations. The results were compared to the magnetic susceptibility measurements in the sedimentary profile.
