In this book chapter we have evaluated contribution of nucleocytoplasmic interactions to allopolyploid nucleus formation using Nicotiana tabacum (tobacco) as a model. Cytogenetic and molecular analysis of synthetic and natural tobacco lines showed that paternal genome restructuralization is fast and may contribute to stabilization of this type of allotetraploid genome.
V této práci jsme evaluovali příspěvek nukleocytoplasmatických interakcí ke vzniku allopolyploidního jádra na modelovém systému Nicotiana tabacum (tabák). cytogenetickou a molekulární analýzou syntetických a přirozených hybridů tabáku ukazujeme, že restrukturalizace otcovského genomu probíhají velmi rychle a zřejmě přispívají ke stabilizaci tohoto typu allotetraploidního genomu.
