Description in English The article critically reflects Wolfgang Spitzbardt’s book essay and reflects on his criteria of quality theater, which the author declares to be consistent with the Aristotelian understanding of mimesis. Still, the author’s interpretation of the term Aristotelian mimesis can be argued as in certain terms insufficient.
