Autor se v kapitole věnuje stavu právního řádu v České republice. Hodnocení vychází z výsledků z databáze Legsys a analýz uskutečněných v rámci projektu Právnický elektronický slovník. V oblasti aplikace práva mají velkou roli i mimoprávní aspekty, z nichž autor vybírá ty nejvlivnější. Stav právního řádu v České republice nelze považovat za uspokojivý, ale autor věří, že právo půjde cestou tradičních evropských demokracií založených na sociálním státu, na státu jako představiteli veřejného zájmu a právu jako fairových pravidlech.

In the chapter, the author pays attention to the state of the legal order of the Czech Republic. His evaluation is based on the results of the Legsys database and analyses carried out within the PES project (Czech legal electronic dictionary). As far as application of law is concerned, of great significance are also extralegal aspects from which the author presents the most influential ones. The state of the legal order of the Czech Republic cannot be considered satisfactory; however, the author believes that the law will follow the example of traditional European democracies based on a welfare state, a state promoting public interest and the law as fair rules.
