Description in English The reviewed book deals with the life of a Czech legal scholar, president of the interwar Supreme Administrative Court and protectorate president Emil Hácha. The review evaluates the work as linguistically at a high level and based on long-term careful research. The review points to the author's undisguised intention to rehabilitate Emil Hácha, who used to be called a collaborator with the Nazi regime. The book will undoubtedly serve as a quality basis for the ongoing discussion about the role of Emil Hácha and the protectorate's political representation. The book also contributes to the awareness of the formation of the First Republic's administrative judiciary, to which the current one follows.
