Tato kniha vznikla u příležitosti zahájení práce na řešení vědeckých projektů v nově vybudovaném Centru exelence Telč (CET) Ústavu teoretické a aplikované mechaniky AV ČR a představuje některé výsledky, dosažené během výzkumné činnosti v rámci jednoroční startovací etapy v roce 2013. Nové výzkumné pracoviště v Telči bylo vybudováno jako Evropské centrum excelence pro mezioborový výzkum problémů záchrany, zachování a využívání hmotných památek kulturního dědictví s širšími přesahy do obecnějšího výzkumu prodlužování životnosti technických materiálů a konstrukcí a do výzkumu adaptace staveb a sídel na klimatické změny.

This book is created at the occasion of starting work on the scientific projects in the new Centre of Excellence Telč (CET) Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics ASCR and presents some results obtained during the research activities within the first year starting stage in 2013. New research centre in Telc was developed as a European Centre of Excellence for interdisciplinary research problems of preservation and use of historical monuments and architectural heritage partly focused also on research of extension of lifetime of engineering materials and structures and adaptation of building and settlements to climate change.
