Eines der bezeichnendsten Beispiele aus dem Arsenal tschechischer historischer Mythen des 20. Jarhunderts ist der Legionärsmythos. Im folgenden Beitrag bemüht der Autor sich darum, seine Struktur und seinen Inhalt zu erfassen. Der Autor konzentriert sich auf den Legionärsmythos in seiner "Masaryk´schen" Ausprägung, das heisst auf den Mythos, der vom ersten Präsidenten und dem ihn umgebenden "Burg"-Kreis kultiviert wurde. Description in English The national Myths are an integral part of the Czech historical selfconsciousness. One of the best examples from the catalogue of the Czech historical Myths of the 20th century is the legionary myth. In this article the author attempts tu analyse its content and structure. The author focuses on the legionary Myth in the "Masarykian" sense, it means on the myth that has been cultivated by the first president and his "Castle" circle.
