AnnotationA new approach to modeling of induction heating of thin plates is presented. The model of magnetic field is based on the electric vector potential T and the distribution of temperature is described by a modified equation including heat sources and sinks. The thermoelastic displacements are also respected. The methodology is illustrated by an example whose results are discussed.
