An interpretation, in terms of style and iconography, of late Romanesque and early Gothic wall paintings: an interpretation of Madonna Hodegetria in the sense of the Western concept of Regina coeli, the influence of Bonaventura's Meditationes on the composition of the Deposition from the Cross and in interpretation of the Man of Sorrows with arma Christi in the context of the period.
