Článek pojednává o vybraných inscenacích antických dramat na českých divadelních scénách, které reprezentují současné trendy v uvádění antického divadla. Dále se zabývá současnými českými adaptacemi antických her nebo antických témat obecně.

The paper deals with five selected stagings of Ancient Greek drama in the Czech Republic which represent contemporary tendencies in staging of the Classical drama. In the second part of the paper six contemporary adaptations of the Classical drama are discussed.
