AnnotationIn the present study the combined effect of pulsed high voltage discharge generated directly in water with TiO2 photocatalysis on the removal of organic pollutants from water was investigated using phenol as model organic compound. The mechanisms occurring in such system and the effect of ultraviolet radiation from the plasma on TiO2 activity is discussed.
