A. Komenského. Komenský pokládal trojiny (triady) za ontologický a pořádající princip celého vesmíru, nadto ještě uznával nesmírnou metodologickou, heuristickou a explikativní funkci triadismu. Jeho bývalý spolupracovník Christian Kinner však tento přístup dovedl ad absurdum, když jej při každé příležitosti aplikoval i na náhodné děje. Jeden z takových jeho pokusů, „Harmonická triada evropských panovníků“, se nachází v pozůstalosti Samuela Hartliba („Hartlib Papers“) v Sheffieldu. V příspěvku autor poukazuje na názorovou propast povstavší mezi mistrem a jeho epigonem. Description in English Trichotomies, triadic divisions, rooted in the Augustinian Trinitarian doctrine, constitute the cornerstone of the pansophic philosophical conception of J. A. Comenius. Comenius not only considered it to be the ontological fundament of the universe and its basic ordering principle, but he also acknowledged its huge methodologic, heuristic, and explicative role. Yet his former collaborator Christian Kinner, who was fond of inventing trichotomies at every occasion, reduced this serious approach to an absurdity by applying it even to accidental events. One of such attempts, entitled „Regum Europaeorum trias harmonica“, is preserved in the collection of the papers and correspondence of the „Great Intelligencer of Europe“ Samuel Hartlib („Hartlib Papers“) in Sheffield. The author of the present paper points out the gap arisen between the master and his epigone.
