Die Studie stellt sich die frage: Warum und wozu sollen wir überhaupt über die Schuld sprechen? Und sie sucht eine Antwort im hebräischen Denken finden, und zwar im Buch Hesekiel. Sie behandelt speziell das Problem der Übertragbarkeit der Schuld von Vorfahren auf die Nachkommen. Dieser archaische Grundsatz wird bezweifelt. Und anstatt dessen wird die persönliche innere Reinigung bevorzugt.

The study raises the question: why should we even talk about the guilt? And it seeks an answer in the Hebrew thinkig, in the book of Ezekiel. It deals with the problem of transferability of the guilt of ancestors to their descendants. This archaic principle is doubted. And instead of it the personal purification is preferred.
