Kapitola Trans nezletilí a zákon se věnuje právní úpravě související s problematikou transgenderu u nezletilých osob. Právní úprava, která by chránila práva trans lidí, je v českém prostředí relativně stručná a cílí primárně na zdravotní zákroky spojené se změnou pohlaví u osob starších 18 let. Trans nezletilé zákon nezmiňuje vůbec, což vytváří dojem, že se téma transgenderu týká především dospělých. Pokrok v péči o trans nezletilé lze pozorovat v medicíně i v právních řádech různých států, české právo ale prozatím trans nezletilým významnou právní ochranu neposkytuje, a naopak vytváří překážky, které trans lidem brání v uznání jejich identity.

The chapter Trans Minors and the Law focuses on the legal regulation related to the issue of transgender minors. The legislation protecting the rights of trans people in the Czech environment is relatively brief and primarily targets medical interventions related to gender reassignment for persons over 18 years of age. The law does not mention trans minors at all, which creates the impression that the topic of transgender concerns mainly adults. Progress in the care of trans minors can be observed in medicine and in the legal systems of various countries, but Czech law does not yet provide significant legal protection for trans minors and, on the contrary, creates barriers that prevent trans people from having their identity recognised.
