Tištěné a rukopisné mapy Čech, Moravy a Slezska a jejich regionů z 18. století byly zdobeny barokními a rokokovými kartušemi a parergy. Mezi tištěnými regionálními mapami obsahují mapy slezských knížectví z první poloviny 18. století jednu z nejsložitějších, nejbohatších a nejzajímavějších výzdob. Autory těchto mapy byli Johann Wolfgang Wieland a Mathäus Schubarth. Parerga a jejich symbolika byla zaměřena především na charakteristiku hospodářských aktivit v regionech. Za autory parerg lze považovat Johanna Christiana Reinspergera a Michaela Rösslera.

Printed and handwritten maps of Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia and its regions from 18th century were decorated with baroque and rococo cartouches and parerga. Among the printed regional maps, the maps of the Silesian principalities from the first half of the 18th century contain some of the most complex, richest and interesting decoration. The authors of these maps were Johann Wolfgang Wieland and Mathäus Schubarth. The parerga and their symbolism were mainly focused on the characteristic of the important economic activities in the regions. Johann Christian Reinsperger and Michael Rössler maybe can be considered for the authors of the parerga.
