The development of advanced methods based on the hydride generation (HG) technique, combined with state-of-the-art ICP-MS/MS was presented, capable of ultra-trace analysis of Te, Ge and Sb at levels found in natural systems. Examples of interesting results obtained by the new methods applied to natural waters of proven chemistry from drinking water reservoirs were shown.
