Rozbor deníků sepsaných českým archivářem Hynkem Kollmannem za jeho badatelských cest do Itálie v 90. letech 19. století je příspěvkem k poznání dějin zahraničních historických ústavů v Římě (zvláště Rakouského ústavu a České expedice) a každodenního života v Římě na konci 19. století.

An analysis of the diaries written by the Czech archivist Hynek Kollmann during his research travels to Italy in 1890s is a contribution to the history of foreign historical institutes in Rome (especially of the Austrian Institute and the Czech Expedition) and of the every-day life in Rome at the end of the 19th century.
