Review of the volume from the series of Oxford Universities studies in the Enlightenment dedicated to the methodology of global history in the interpretation of antiques of European, Asian and American continents during the Enlightenment. The reviewer particularly observes the approach to the architectural monuments and points out the difficulties of enforcing this method in the research of bohemian material of this period.
