Všímá si jedinak základních odlišností ve struktuře obou právních oblastí a zkoumá praktické změny a dopady. Kapitola přibližuje pouze vybrané otázky, přičemž klade důraz na proces revize předlitavského občanského zákoníku, přičemž si všímá zvláště způsobu práce revizní komise vedené Janem Krčmářem. Stručně přiblíženy jsou i další oblasti civilního práva. Description in English The chapter describes a difficult process of unification of substantive and procedural civil law in the first years after the creation of Czechoslovakia. It notes the fundamental differences in the structure of both legal areas and examines the practical changes and impacts. The chapter approaches only selected issues, emphasizing the revision process of the Austrian Civil Code, paying special attention to the work of the revision commission led by Jan Krčmář.
