AnnotationPlasma gasification is a truly clean alternative to conventional waste treatment methods.

The heat supplied by the plasma source is used for melting and vitrification or gasification of inorganic or organic materials. The products of plasma gasification are pure syngas (containing mainly H2 and CO) and small amounts of inert stabilised glass slag, which has a wide range of other uses.

The treatment of hazardous waste using the plasma gasification process offers the major advantage of guaranteed degradation of the input material already at the molecular level, ensuring that any macromolecular hazardous substances (chemical or biological) are safely degraded and converted into safe output products.
