Príspevok sa venuje možnostiam intenzívnejšieho využitia komparatistiky v rámci literárnej výchovy. Vyzdvihnutie komparatistiky by mohlo priniesť hľadanie a akceptovanie inakosti, pretože sa neviaže na národný jazyk a literatúru, na konktérnu tradíciu a kultúru, ale odvoláva sa na ich rozmanitosť, má vysvetliť kontakt s druhým, ktorý by mohol byť blízky, ale aj iný. Tzv. edukačná, didakticky aplikovaná komparatistika je oblasťou porovnávacej literárnej vedy zameranou na prekonávanie binárnej opozície národnosti a svetovosti.

The paper explores possibilities of a more intensive use of comparative literature withing literary education. Emphasising comparative literature may bring in a search and respect for otherness, since it is not connected to any national language and literature, to any concrete tradition and culture, but refers to their variability, with the aim of explaining the contact with the other, which can be close as well as different. The so-called educational, didactically applied comparatistics is a field of comparative literary studies aimed at overcoming binary opposition of the national and the worldly.
