Annotation	During the presentation, sewage sludge management in the Czech Republic and the effect of pyrolysis process conditions on the key properties of the resulting pyrolysis residues (biochar/sludge-char) were discussed. Furthermore, the possibility of application of pyrolysis residues from sewage sludge pyrolysis as a soil improver in the Czech Republic was discussed.
