Článek se zabývá ranými sbírkami Fráni Šrámka a ukazuje proměnu poetiky jeho verše: od dekadentního dlouhého verše (volného nebo jambického) ke kratšímu trocheji. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována rytmickým rozdílům mezi jambem a trochejem, zejména pro Šrámka typickým jednoslabičným začátkům trochejských veršů.
Analysis of early collections of poems by Fráňa Šrámek reveals the changes of his verse: starting with the decadent long verse (free or iambic one) and proceeding to shorter trochee. Special attention is paid to the differences of rhythm in iambs and trochees and to one-syllable beginnings of trochees typical for Šrámek.
